The service

234 Native is a platform with structured articles about designing native iOS apps, covering components, patterns and foundations, with best practices and real-world examples. Subscribers also get Native Companion, an iOS app with native components to test out. Designers and developers access the platform through a subscription, paying monthly or annually.

234 Native is independent documentation written by 234 Studio AS. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Apple Inc. Apple, iOS and Human Interface Guidelines are trademarks of Apple Inc.

Subscriptions and payment

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, in advance, through our payment provider Stripe. The price, currency and billing period are shown at checkout. Taxes such as VAT may be added depending on where you are.

Access is granted in the web app right after purchase. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.

We may change prices. Changes take effect at your next renewal and we will tell you at least 30 days in advance.

Your account

A subscription is for the person or team named at checkout. Keep your login details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else is using your account.

You may export data and use the AI-assistant integration for your own work. You may not resell, redistribute, scrape or republish the content, or share access outside your subscription.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time in your account settings. Access continues until the end of the period you have paid for, and you will not be charged again. Details, including the statutory right of withdrawal, are in our refund and cancellation policy.

Intellectual property

The content, structure and software of 234 Native belong to 234 Studio AS. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use them while it is active.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available and accurate, but we provide it as it is. We do not promise that it is free of errors or uninterrupted, and it does not replace Apple's own documentation or your own judgement.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the service or by email before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes are settled by the courts of Oslo, Norway, unless mandatory consumer law in your country gives you the right to another venue.
